Determine Size Before You Purchase:  Here is an easy rule of thumb to determine the diameter of a chandelier for a room. Add the length and width of the room together in feet and use inches: For example, you have a room that is 12 feet wide +14 feet deep = 26 feet. The appropriate chandelier diameter should be around 26 inches, plus or minus.
