Q: Can someone help me choose a particular product. I would like a second opinion...

A: Yes, we would be glad to assist you with this. Also, we offer a service that is unique! Send us a photo of the area where you are looking to add an accessory – and we will superimpose a photo of the item that you are considering onto the photo you have sent us – at no additional cost. Q: Do you offer discounts, trade discounts, or coupons?

A: Yes, we determine discounts on a case by case basis. We offer special discounts for bulk orders and repeat customers. And, we send out coupons to repeat customers or to customers who are on our newsletter list. If you see a better price offered somewhere else, please give us a call. We can usually do better.

Q: Are the prices shown on your website the full purchase price?

A: Yes, prices shown include shipping and taxes. There are no additional charges.

Q: From where do items get shipped?

A: We ship our products directly from the manufacturer - this keeps costs down by avoiding duplicate shipping costs. Most of our items ship from the east coast: North Carolina, Virginia, or Pennsylvania. However, our Uttermost products ship from either Virginia or California.

Q: What delivery service do you use?

A: Wildwood, Frederick Cooper, Chelsea House, Tommy Bahama, Dimond, Trump Home, and Cooper Classics are shipped via FedEx. Uttermost is shipped via UPS. Most items will be left at the door if there is nobody home. You may request a signature be required if you do not want shipper to leave at your from door.

However, objects that are too heavy for these couriers are shipped via various trucking companies. The trucking companies generally deliver to the curb, rather than to the door. They will call you before item is delivered.

Q: How do I return an item?

A: Please call us first - and refer to Shipping and Returns. Items shipped outside of the lower 48 States have a different return policy because of additional shipping costs.

Q: Do you charge a restocking fee on returned items?

A: Unless the item is damaged, there is a fee or shipping cost associated with a return which varies depending on the manufacturer. Refer to Shipping and Returns for more details.

Q: How do I track my order?

A: We will send you an e-mail indicating the tracking number and delivery date.

Q: Do you ship to Canada?

A: Yes, we ship to Canada. There are additional costs for shipping, tax, and duty. Once you contact us and provide your address and item/s to purchase, we will get back with you on the exact charges before order is placed. The additional shipping, duty, and tax costs are sometimes very expensive, and if you can, have item shipped to a USA location where you can pick up. The return policy is different for shipments outside of the lower 48 States. See Shipping and Returns for more information.

Q: Do you ship overseas?

A: Only to Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Q: What best size Table Lamp, Buffet Lamp, or Bedside Lamp for my location?

A: Please refer to this article. Other than the lamp height, it is also important to make sure that the bottom width or diameter of the lampshade is smaller than the table on which it sets.

Q: What if I do not want the lampshade that comes the table lamp?

A: If it is a Wildwood, Frederick Cooper, or Chelsea House lamp, we can deduct the price of the lampshade. For all other brands, lampshades are shipped with the lamps.

Q: Is a hanging bracket or a wire included with mirrors or wall art?

A: All the mirrors or wall art come with either a bracket or wire. Most of them have this hardware pre-installed.

Q: Can I substitute a fluorescent bulb for an incandescent bulb?

A: Yes, energy-saving compact fluorescent light bulbs can be substituted for standard incandescent bulbs in most table lamps. They have a longer life, and they use considerably less energy than their incandescent counterparts.

Q: What is your warranty?

A: Fine Home Lamps does not itself warranty the products offered for the sale on the website. However, all products are warranted by the manufacturer to be free from defects. Wildwood Lamps and Uttermost products have a warranty for one year. Contact us for information on other manufacturer's warranties.
