Bedroom Lamps - Bedside table lamps require minimal area, but have an incredible effect on the appearance and mood. Most table top surfaces in a bedroom are narrow in depth - between 16" and 18". Most important when choosing table lamps for bedroom is that the diameter of the lampshade is a little smaller than the narrowest dimension of the the table on which it sets - so that the lampshade does not hang over the table. For a 16" deep table, you would likely not want the shade any deeper than 15". For this reason, oval and rectangular shape shades work well for bedside lamps. You can find the dimension of the bottom the lampshade on each of our product pages.
