Arched Window Wall Mirror for Living Room

Mirrors add so much to a room. Not only do they reflect light and color, they add a focal point that no other accessory can create. It can even give the illusion of a larger space, so putting a mirror in a small room with a small window can change the whole look and feel. Mirrors do not need to be the standard rectangle with the nothing-special gold frame. Push the boundaries and pick something that is unique and comment worthy. Below, you will see how the designer has cleverly enhanced the arched windowpane wall mirror with shutters and made a charming focal point. View Similar Arched Window Wall Mirrors.

Traditional Rustic Living Room in Blue, White, and Brown

This stately room with its darkly stained timber beam ceiling has been transformed to suit present day living. The high walls have been painted white to open the space and extra large floor to ceiling windows bring in much need light. A heavy wooden armoire and table is balanced by light colored upholstery to keep the area from growing too dark and enclosed.

Accents of color are brought in through the large artwork and the Asian-inspired blue and white porcelain lamps. The simple hanging lantern maintains the sense of casual elegance. Even with all these new touches, the space still maintains its sense of character and old world charm.

Transitional Living Room in Black and White

Black and white can skew mod, graphic, period — or in this case, transitional with a touch of glamour. The rectangular black mirror and large coffee table anchor the room, while the snow-white sofa and chairs with black piping have plenty of flair, and a oxblood throw pillows provide a sophisticated pop of color. Clean-lined light fixtures and accessories would make this room more spare than elegant, hence the polished silver floor lamps and wrought iron and crystal chandelier introduce traditional shapes.

Rustic Living Room with Southwestern Design

Rounded, cream stucco blends right in to the matching fireplace for this desert-themed living room, matched with sandy upholstery and contrasted by dark wood finishes.  Most of this Southwestern design is understated and calm, with the exception of two bold features. The carved fireplace is worldly and unique and a bold metallic and wood mirror looks like it could be a Mayan artifact.
